The Classic Lion Cast Stone Outdoor Fountain by Henri Studio is designed to serve as a majestic garden centerpiece as it is a perfect ornament that easily harmonizes with its surrounding flora. The fountain features intricately carved lion heads in a stone column, spewing water streams out of their mouths. The soothing sounds it creates as water flows to the large octagonal basin sitting on top of a grand octagonal base will bring relaxation and warmth that will fill any outdoor space. If you want, we can include the optional 8" cast stone riser that elevates the fountain's height up to 56" in height. Though sold separately, we will ship it to you at no additional shipping cost.

Small items will be shipped through USPS/UPS/FEDEX Ground, with free shipping.
Larger items, (typically products over 100lbs) will ship freight with Curbside Service (LTL Carrier). The delivery company will not unpackage and/or relocate your order once off the truck. Please make sure to have any kind of assistance needed at time of delivery if you feel necessary. Please Note: The delivery company will call to arrange a delivery time with you prior to arrival. Customers must be available to sign for the shipment at time of delivery.
3) Since our water fountains are made to order and lead times will vary. Please reach out for the current lead time on the product you are interested in. We can sometimes help you find an alternative that can ship sooner (or help speed up the process) to meet any time demands on your water feature.
4) If your water fountain has an extra large base/pool/pond, a forklift is sometimes required for delivery as the base will be too big for the carrier's lift-gate service. You must arrange this prior to your water fountain delivery. NOTE: Although most water fountains DO NOT require a forklift because they can fit on a lift gate, we will notify you prior to shipping if your fountain requires a fork lift.
Although durable, protecting cast stone water fountains during winter is crucial to prevent damage from the freeze-thaw cycle that can occur in most states. Moisture trapped in water fountains can expand when frozen, leading to deterioration and cracks. For smaller outdoor fountains we highly recommend storing them indoors or in covered areas during freezing months. For larger outdoor fountains we recommend thoroughly drying and covering them with a waterproof cover. Regular maintenance and care can significantly extend the life of these decorative items..

The pump designed for this fountain is the PS850 - Mag-drive Pump.
This pump is rated at 850 gallons per hour and is a submersible, recirculating pump.

Can a basin be added to the lion?
Hello and thank you for your inquiry. Unfortunately adding a basin to this fountain is not possible. If you would like a fountain with a basin, we would be happy to send you recommendations.

Is there a drain in the large bowl for releasing old water? If so , is it a rubber plug or a screw out plug?
This fountain does not have a designated drain hole to remove the water. The easiest way to remove water is to use a wet/dry shop vac to suck out the moisture.
